The Tree

A poem of strength

The wind outside is ferocious
Tugging at the trees
It pulls the limbs
And pushes the bough
Yet still, the tree looks at ease

It moves with the wind I see
I thought it was pushed around
Its leaves are not snapped off
But given away
It’s their time to meet the ground
